RM Hubbert has been announced as the winner of this year’s Scottish Album of The Year Award.

This year’s Scottish Album Of The Year Award Long List has just been announced. We’re very proud to have been involved, to a greater or lesser extent, in recording 6 of those albums:

Deacon Blue’s critically acclaimed 6th studio album ‘The Hipsters’ was released on 24th September 2012 and entered the UK chart at No. 19.

Over recent years, Chem19 has had the pleasure of working with many young artists in helping them record their first demos. This has been made possible with the help of funding from Creative Scotland’s Youth Music Initiative Fund.

This year saw the inaugural outing of Scotland’s brand new national art prize – The Scottish Album of The Year Award (SAY Award).
