SSL Desk Now Installed in Studio 1!

We are delighted to be able to announce the recent installation of the wonderful SSL AWS 948 console into Studio 1. The AWS 948 is a desk we have been coveting for years now and so we were overjoyed to take unexpected early delivery of it on Christmas Eve. The festive holidays were duly cancelled for Chem19 staff and the desk was fully installed and functioning by the first week in January thanks to round the clock soldering and taming of miles of cable. The desk is a modern take on the classic SSL consoles of the 80’s and 90’s, but adding full Digital Audio Workstation/ProTools control resulting in the best of both worlds.
