BANDS WANTED!!!
2010 Demo Bands Fund - Supported by the Scottish Arts Council
During 2008 and 2009 we were privileged to be involved in a unique arts project. Funded by the Scottish Arts Council’s Youth Music Initiative (YMI), over 50 of Scotland’s most promising young bands were given the chance to work with professional recording studios recording a demo with the guidance of experienced engineers.
Having been involved with the fund over the past two years, we are very happy to report that Chem19 has once again been granted the fund and so we are now looking for bands to apply to us for consideration for recording later in 2010.
Artists need to be between 18 and 25 to apply, and have recorded no more than one professional demo previously. Eligible artists must have no involvement with professional management or promoters, be unsigned and have never played an International Showcase event. If you feel you fit the bill or know an artist who does, we'd love to hear from you. Email us at info@chem19.co.uk.
Please note the deadline for applications is July 30th 2010.
